Pennies On The Dollar…”
-
And how YOU can enjoy:
An environmentally friendly home
Year-round sunshine
Peaceful, serene beaches & rainforest
Unpolluted, clean air & water
The happiest people in the world
CNN’s #2 “Up And Coming Destination”
Dear Friend:
If you’re at all interested in owning an eco-friendly home overlooking a pristine river & lost valley… drastically lowering your cost of living… and enjoying year-round sunshine…
Then I have some very good news for you.
You see, there’s a way to inexpensively own your own piece of tropical Paradise… be surrounded by genuine, friendly people who love to enjoy life… and enjoy all your regular amenities…
In short, there is a place that’s the…
“Absolute Perfect Winter Getaway Or Full-Time Home.”
See, you might have heard of Belize before. What you might not have heard is that it was ranked #2 in CNN’s “Up And Coming Destinations”.
It’s pretty easy to figure out why.
Thing is, if you’re considering moving to another country, there are undoubtedly a lot of important factors to consider.
When polled, there were 10 factors that came up again and again with potential retirees. Most people didn’t need every single factor to be met, but the more… the better.
We’ll explain those factors to you, and tell you how Belize fares with each one.
After all, it’s only fair that you have the entire truth.
“Factor #1: Temperate (If Not Tropical) Climate.”
Belize overlooks the Caribbean and has a beautiful rainforest mountain range. It has a mean temperature of 79 degrees Fahrenheit.
Belizeans enjoy swimming in waters that remain at 85 degrees all year round, even in the winter.
And since there’s year-round sunshine, you’ll never have to worry about a heating bill.
Belize has been touted as one of the few places in the world to have “perfect” weather.
“Factor #2: Low Cost Of Living.”
Belize has the lowest cost of living in the Caribbean, and one of the lowest inflation rates in the world. It’s cheaper than the United States, Canada, and Europe.
It has never once had a currency devaluation, and $1 USD is equivalent to $2 Belize.
While vehicles, computers, and technology items are generally cheaper in the U.S., mostly all necessities and services are much cheaper in Belize.
To give you an idea of prices, you can buy ten bananas in Belize for only $.50 (that’s right – for all ten). A pineapple costs about $.50, and a papaya costs $.75 US.
You could hire a maid to clean, cook your food, do laundry and do your shopping… all for $3 Belize an hour (that’s $1.50 USD per hour) and she’ll be happy to do so.
As you can see, your dollars stretch quite far in Belize.
“Factor #3: Easy Going Lifestyle.”
Belize is one of the least populated countries in the world. There are no crowds or traffic, and those who do live there are friendly, genuine people who love to have fun and enjoy life.
Belizeans would much rather lie in a hammock, feel the tropical breeze, and drink the water of a sweet coconut than go to any trouble.
In fact, the country is so laid back that it takes getting used to for people who have never learned to completely unwind and enjoy life before.
Since that’s what your retirement is all about, though, it’ll be a perfect learning experience.
“Factor #4: First World Amenities”
Belize is hardly what you’d consider underdeveloped. Now, we’ll be completely honest. There are certain things that might surprise you at first. For example, you’re not going to see a lot of washing machines around Belize. However, since you can hire people to handwash your clothes for $1.50 USD an hour, it shouldn’t be a problem.
And you can certainly enjoy the lifestyle you’re accustomed to with high-speed Internet, fiber-optic phone lines, and cable TV.
In the area that we’ve built (more on that later), we offer free high speed Internet. This means you can still use your laptop – just use it while swinging on a hammock.
There’s a technology center that you get access to, and a comprehensive business center. This allows you to send faxes, print, use computers, and much more.
There’s a conference room and community hall available to you which comes complete with digital projectors, sound systems, and much more.
There’s also facilities for massages and other spa treatments.
“Factor #5: English Speaking Country”
Belize used to be a British colony, so the national language is English.
The schools teach English, the signs are all in English, and all government forms are in English.
10% of all citizens are expatriates from United States, England, and Canada, so there are people around that you can easily relate to.
Imagine going to a hospital at 3 am with chest pains and not being able to communicate what you need with the doctor. That would never happen in Belize.
“Factor #6: Politically Stable”
Central America is often known for its turmoil, but Belize is a huge exception.
It’s a politically stable democracy that has never once experienced war.
People have compared it to the “Central American Switzerland”, politically speaking.
To look at it from another perspective, the country is so laid back that the police usually don’t even carry guns.
“Factor #7: Good Health Care System”
Health care is not a problem at all in Belize. With most clinics, you can walk right in without setting an appointment.
The receptionist will tell you how many people are ahead of you, and you can judge accordingly.
Because of the laid back culture in Belize, doctors won’t rush you or treat you like cattle, and will take painstaking precaution to make sure that you’re getting the best treatment possible.
The culture difference helps, too. Latin Americans are generally warmer people, and there is no “I’m the doctor, therefore I’m an authority figure” stigma. Because health costs are so much cheaper in Belize ($15 for an emergency room visit, $50 for a day in a private room at a hospital, $15 for an exam and consultation with a specialist), doctors are in business to help people… not to become rich.
The abundance of quality local produce is exceptional in Belize. You can savor delicious fruits like papayas, bananas, pineapples, and mangoes.
You can also enjoy delicious seafood like lobster, shrimp, conch, and snapper.
The quality of food at the majority of restaurants and cafes is very high, and the flavors of local dishes are sumptuous. You can eat out and shop for pennies on the dollar, considering what you would pay back home.
Because the food is generally much healthier here, not only will you love the flavors, but you’ll feel much better too.
“Factor #9: Proximity To Other Countries With Tourist Attractions”
Belize is very close to a lot of places.
There are many daily flights out of the Belize City Airport. And the air time from Belize City to New Orleans, Houston, or Miami is only two hours.
Our ecovillage is also close to the two largest Mayan sites discovered (Tikal and Caracol). Since it’s situated in the heart of the Mayan empire, there are also many smaller Mayan sites close by: Xunantunich, Cahal Pech, El Pilar, and many more.
“Factor #10: Plenty Of Activities”
You can enjoy snorkeling, windsurfing, scuba diving, and sport fishing in Belize.
In the center we built, you can access kayaks, mountain bikes, tubes, and more.
Since Belize has rich wildlife (500 species of birds, an abundance of rare/endangered species, etc.), many people like to go “birding”.
You could also explore the Mayan caves.
In Belize, opportunities for adventure abound.
“As You Can See… Belize Meets Or Exceeds Each Of The 10 Criteria.”
…which is a lot more than most countries can say.
But even now that you’re convinced that Belize is a great place to retire, there are still things you need to know.
First you might be asking,
“Where Can I Buy Land In Belize?”
The truth is, you have a few options. Our properties are one of them.
Obviously we think we offer the best option, and we’ll explain why. But we should warn you … we’re quite picky about who we let purchase land from us.
See, even though we’re new to the country, we quickly became true Belizeans. The founding owners of the properties are homeowners themselves. We love the healthy, peaceful lifestyle that emanates from this country… and want to surround ourselves with those that have our values.
And because the country is so small and intimate, we certainly don’t want to be responsible for letting the “wrong” people in.
And besides from being peaceful, positive people…
“You Must Be Okay With Living In An Eco-Friendly Home.”
We strongly respect our environment. Because of this, the community that we developed is completely eco-friendly.
We sell both 1-acre lots of land and custom made homes for those who prefer. The homes are completely self-sustainable and come with electricity via hydro from the river, solar panels, and solar hot water. Depending on which home (different homes have different resources), some of it is allotted via wind power.
The homes also come with water that’s either filtered from the Macal river, from a water catchment, or from a combination of the two (again, depends on the lot).
Should you decide you want a home, we can easily build it for you. If you decide you want to do it yourself, that’s okay too – but they must adhere to our eco standards. We have an eco advisor available for you to talk to.
So you’re probably wondering,
“How Much Does A One-Acre Lot In A Tropical Paradise Cost?”
You’d have every right to be curious, considering the drastic real estate prices across most countries of this caliber.
Think about it… living in a tropical Paradise… reveling in year round sunshine… being surrounded by positive, happy people…
That would normally command a VERY high price.
But to get a full one-acre lot in Belize, you won’t have to pay a high six or seven figure price.
In fact, you won’t even have to pay half of a six figure price. And if you’re the type of person we want in our community, we’re going to make sure that you can afford it.
Our rainforest lots start at just $14,500 when paid in full upfront, or with financing it’s $20,000 with only $5,000 down.
Our ridge and riverfront lots are only $24,500 paid upfront…. or $30,000 with only $5,000 down. That’s right – your own piece of a tropical country for only $5,000. The remainder will cost $97/month interest and you can pay off the principle at any time.
Now, we know this is very inexpensive, and it’s because this community is newer. This price is an introduction price, and we really should warn you…
“The Sooner You Act, The More You Benefit.”
Besides enjoying a cheaper introduction price, there are other certain privileges that you get to enjoy.
For example, lot locations are on a “first come, first served” basis. As soon as you purchase a lot, you decide where you want your property. This includes all riverfront and river/mountain lookout properties.
Founding members will also get trail and road naming rights. Just imagine how a street sign would look with your name on it!
So,
If you’re completely convinced that Belize is the right choice for you and want to reserve your piece of paradise, then please email us at:
After all, it’s not like there are many other countries that not only meet the criteria that retirees have, but exceed it.
Whatever you do, please think hard about this letter. It’s not every day that the opportunity to own your own home in a tropical, peaceful country comes along. Especially not an opportunity of this kind.
To your happiness,
The Better In Belize Ecovillage Community
P.S. Please remember that this is an introductory special. After the introductory period, the prices will go up and you might not have the chance to capture a riverfront or river/mountain lookout property.
